COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS 2019) NOTICE
In response to Centers for Disease Control advisements to take precautions in light of the COVID-19 virus (corona virus) outbreak by limiting exposure to the virus, the Shreveport Bar Center/ Shreveport Bar Foundation and Shreveport Bar Association are enforcing visitor restrictions effective immediately.YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK OVER YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE WHILE YOU ARE IN THE BUILDING. A STAFF MEMBER WILL MEET YOU AT THE DOOR TO SCAN FOR A TEMPERATURE AND ASK THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
- Have you traveled by plane in the last 14 days?
- Have you had contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
- Have you had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days? Fever greater than 100, difficulty breathing (not sever), cough, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
- Are you currently experiencing fever over 100, difficulty breathing or cough or caring for someone who is ill?
UPON ENTRY YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE HAND SANITIZER. IF YOU REFUSE TO DO ANY OF THESE SAFETY PROCEDURES, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE BUILDING.
These restrictions shall remain in place until it is determined to be safe to remove them. Persons who think they may have been exposed to COVID-19 should contact their healthcare provider immediately.
If you need to reach a staff member, please call 318-222-3643. We will be available by phone Mon-Thurs 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday 9:00 – 2:00 PM. If you need Protective Order forms, please go to the Clerk of Court’s office at the Parish Courthouse.
