Legal Community Support Staff Committee (LCSSC)

Established in September 2024, the Legal Community Support Staff Committee (LCSSC) was created to strengthen and support the vital role of legal assistants, paralegals, and other support professionals within the Shreveport Bar Association and the broader legal community. The committee is dedicated to promoting the interests of non-attorney members who contribute to the administration of justice and the practice of law, including paralegals, legal assistants, law students, and others interested in the legal profession.

Through collaboration and targeted initiatives such as membership development, continuing education, service through high school outreach, maintaining a job bank, and promoting events through social media and publicity the LCSSC works to build a strong, connected, and engaged support staff community. These efforts help ensure that professionals with legal support are recognized, supported, and empowered as an essential part of the legal profession.

You can find us on LinkedIn and Facebook. Be sure to follow us and watch for more information to be shared on both social media pages.
